a look into my make-up bag! ♥

Good-day to everyone out there on this lovely sunny day (it was raining earlier!)

I decided to do a little post on my make-up bag as we girls are ever so keen on sharing our love in make-up!
This is all the stuff i have inside my make-up bag, I do have more make-up but this is the main stuff that i use.

P.S Apologies for the average quality photos, I don't have a camera with me so these are taken on my iPhone!

the make up bag itself, MAC £25

Illuminating Tinted Moisturiser, Laura Mercier £32 (worth the megabucks!)

I wear this as a foundation as luckily I have quite good skin and don't like anything too heavy on my face. I recommend this to anyone who wants a coverage not too thick, but something to provide an excellent base. I do still use a basic moisturiser underneath as my skin tends to dry up easily. The great thing about this product is the 'illumination' you can really see it when the sun shines on your face, great for summer !

MAC Mineralise Skin Finish Natural in Medium £18, Face and Body brush, the Body Shop £14

I use this powder for a lovely sheer natural finish on top of my foundation. I don;t use concealer as I feel i don't really need it unless theres something I need to cover up badly. This combination usually does the trick and leaves your face feeling super soft !

NARS blusher in Orgasm £19.50, MAC Mineralise Skinfinish in Northern Light £19.50, MAC Powder Blush in Cowgirl £16.50, The Body Shop blusher brush, £12.50

These are fantastic colours for your cheeks. Depending on the weather states which one I use. Northern Light is great for the summer as it has reflective shimmery pigments which glow in the sunshine, as does Orgasm which gives a slightly stronger colour for night-time. Cowgirl is just a great light pink colour for the daytime!

Eye Tools: Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion in Sin £11.50,
MAC Prep+Prime Eye in Medium £11.50,
MAC Kohl Eye Pencil in Smolder £12.50,
MAC 239 Eyeshadow Brush £17.50,
Benefit Badlash Mascara £15.50

These are the products i use just during the day. The urban decay primer potion is fantastic, i got the new sin edition because the original is ALWAYS sold out in the stores i go to ! However it leaves a lovely shimmer on the eye so if you are in a rush you can leave it on as it is and has a nice colour. It definitely works better than the MAC prep and prime.

The Benefit mascara is one of the best ones I've personally ever come across. It gives great length to your eyelashes but also thick black colour at the same time.

Eyeshadows: (Right to left) all from MAC, £11 each.
Aquadisiac, Moon's Reflection, Freshwater, Expensive Pink, Honey Lust (well used haha), Honesty, Cranberry

They are all in the same order as above, they are stronger on the eyes of course but this is the general look. I love MAC eyeshadows, their best products by far with such high pigmentation.

MAC Eyeshadow £11 each, MAC Mineralise Eyeshadow (cant remember the price sorry, it was roughly £13)
(right to left) Trax, Parfait Amour, Beauty Marked, Black Tied, Mineralise Eyeshadow in Blue Flame

As before, they are all in the same order as above. The mineralise shadow is best used when wet, it gives off a much stronger colour !

Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Roach and Green Goddess £10 each

Lastly my urban decay eyshadows, these are very highly pigmented too and also work well when wet. They give off strong colour.

That is all I have in my make-up bag! Hope you have enjoyed looking at my stuff!
The next post will be on my lipsticks and nail polishes!

Apology.

Hello my dears!

First of all, I must apologise for the severe lack of blogging. It's the end of the uni year so I've been doing assignments left right and centre! My last deadline is on Monday (phew) then I have 4 exams in May so that should all be out of the way soon !

As a little treat for getting main deadlines out of the way, I took myself to London to visit my auntie as it was her 40th birthday on the 17th. I was only there for a day so didn't spend much time in central shopping or anything like that. I did however manage to snap these badboys up:

Vans Authentic Lo-Pro in Navy:£33 (top)

Vans Chambray Era: £48 (bottom)

Bag: Cath Kidston, London £18

I also visited the MAC store on Kings Road, and got a few bits which I'll show you later as I don't have them with me to photograph!

London was beautifully sunny when I was there, I also managed to get out and see Dear John starring Channing Tatum and Amanda Seyfried. It was a fairly enjoyable film, however did not come across as it's been advertised. I did shed a few tears I have to say haha !

I'm really looking forward to going and doing work experience in June in London, I'm going to be there for 5 weeks, I seriously cannot wait !

During this busy period I've also SERIOUSLY got into The Vampire Diaries, it's a very exciting watch, and actually has actors that can act which usually helps! Alas uni work calls.....
